I found a new website - wwww.whfoods.com. It has lots of detailed info about the nutients in food. One cup of green beans (and who eats less than a cup) has 4 grams of fiber.

I was curious about which fruits were highest in fiber and found a site, www.fitsugar.com, that has a chart of common fruits. I knew apples and bananas are good but who knew berries were so good! Blackberries, raspberries & blueberries are all good. But the surprise was mangos - one mango has 4.5 gr of fiber. The super star is the fig. Four figs have 10.5 gr of fiber. Wow, how can something so sweet be make of so much woody fiber?
